HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?
You should check with your store/dealer before ordering. We believe that the store/dealer linked to from this site usually charge delivery at 10% of order value. We believe that their prices, even after adding a 10% delivery charge, are STILL LESS than most other dealers many of whom sell the same products with FREE DELIVERY.
HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
You should check with your store/dealer before ordering as they may change the transport arrangements, but as a general guide most Largo office furniture orders are delivered directly from the manufacturer using their chosen logistics partners and carriers. Standard manufacturer lead time for Largo office furniture products is estimated at 7 to 10 working days subject to normal stock levels for the products ordered.
IS ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION INCLUDED?
No, but pedestals and filing cabinets in the Largo range are usually delivered boxed and pre-assembled, requiring only the feet and handles to be fitted. Most Largo desks, tables, cupboards, bookcases and similar products manufactured by Dams International are delivered flat packed for easy onsite assembly.
HOW WILL I KNOW ON WHICH DAY THE GOODS WILL BE DELIVERED?
You should check with your store/dealer before ordering as they may change the transport arrangements, but as a general guide with most Largo office furniture orders the logistics partner/carrier usually confirms the delivery date by phone at least one day before delivery. For some orders (usually smaller orders) unnotified delivery is sometimes attempted and a card is left to arrange redelivery if the delivery premises are empty. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday only and usually between 8am and 6pm.
WHAT IF GOODS ARRIVE DAMAGED OR INCOMPLETE?
Many Largo and Dams International flat packed products are delivered in clear packaging that allows most damages to be visible upon receipt without unwrapping the packaging. We recommend that you carefully visually check and report any visible damages or missing parts on the delivery note to ensure that liability for any damage is accepted by the manufacturer/transport firm/dealer. We also recommend that you report all damages verbally and in writing to the dealer/store as soon as possible after receipt (especially for any damages that were not visible or seen and noted on the delivery note), ideally within 1 working day. Damaged goods will usually be collected and replaced, providing the dealer/store and/or manufacturer accept that the damages occured before delivery and have been reported within their acceptable timescales. You should check with your store/dealer before ordering what their acceptable timescales are for reporting any damages that have not been reported on the delivery note.
